Ruger mark ii

I know little to nothing about either one of these .22 pistols. I’m planning on getting myself an Outback II suppressor and Tactical Solutions “upper” for the pistol…I just need to determine which platform to base my “hushpuppy” off of.

What are the pros and cons of each Ruger mark ii?

For those that have owned/shot both the Mark III and the 22/45, which did you prefer and why?

I just need a push in the right direction.

Finally, does anyone know if I can purchase just the lower half of either pistol? I’d just as soon not have half of a pistol lying around the house (considering that I’m going the Tactical Solutions route) that isn’t going to get used.

colt 1911 pistol

I want to make something happen. I always try to be fair in my dealing. I understand FN is no longer going to import the Hi Power; take that for what it’s worth in the effect on values.

Well I think I lost it. I offered to buy a 1911 colt 45 automatic pistol sight unseen the other day. The price seemed right so what the hell. Well the gentleman showed up with it and I bought it. I have to say I’m not a fan of nickle plating but it’s growing on me.
I can’t figure out the barrel set up. The barrel sticks out the front a half inch? It looks like a bull barrel with no bushing. The guide rod is a full length one in blued.

Ruger hand gun

I just picked up a Ruger P95 for $200. It came with the neutered 10 rd mags but was in the box and looks like it’s had less than a box of shells fired through it.
I’ve never owned a P95 before but have had two ruger single six (which I liked but traded off). I still have some of the P89 15 rd mags and they fit well in the P95.
It’s been a while since I’ve dealt with Ruger semiautos and it may be a week or so before I shoot it.
Is the P95 as good, better, or worse than the P89s?

Para Ordnance p 10

I owned a PO PXT SSP.

I put 5 or 600 rounds down the pipe. The SA trigger was alright, but a little mushy with a bit of overtravel.

Reasonably accurate with no malfunctions (considering all their models use a ramped barrel, I expected Para Ordnance).

Here’s where Para Ordnance and I part ways…

Upon field stripping the pistol, I noticed “pockmarks” on the interior of the slide. Not just one or two and they weren’t isolated. The entire underside of the slide had these casting voids that varied in size.

I knew the pistol utilized a cast frame and sldie when I bought it. After my discovery, I detail stripped the frame and found evidence of the same (so it wasn’t an issue with only the slide mold) although to a lesser degree.

Beretta 92 FS

There are several different types of free float tubes on the market, and their installation will vary slightly from this specific one… some have integrated barrel nuts, some require a strap wrench, but all have the same principles involved above AR-15 .
