8/26/2005 10:56:06 AM Great topic…I’m new to the AR world and figured I may be able to buy a AR-15 Accessories and save a few hungred bucks. I have a couple of questions for you seasoned guys… 1. How much skill/knowledge does it take to assemble one? I’ve field striped a M16 before, but that’s the extent of my rifle assembly experience. Does it take special tools to assemble a kit? 2. Are assembly instructinos usually provided by the manufacturer/distributor? 3. I noticed the AR-15 Accessories are usually sold absent a stripped lower receiver, does this mean all the stripped parts are within the AR-15 Accessories and all I need to buy is the stripped lower receiver–or must I buy all the little parts that go within as well? 4. Will current AR-15 Accessories usually work with any stripped lower receiver? 5. And 5, it appears one gets around using a FFL when buying the kits—does this apply for all the parts that must be added (i.e. the lower receive) as well? thanks much…. SandW
